On Friday 18th March and Thursday 24th March our Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children took part in an African dance and drumming workshop led by Border Moves. During the sessions the team focuses on developing performance skills, creating a link between contemporary and traditional music and dance forms and encouraging children to explore their own ideas. At the end of the day the children performed their newly acquired skills in a special assembly to the rest of the school and our parents.
Each year the children look forward to taking part in the exciting and creative sessions. We look forward to inviting Clive and Helen back into school very soon for another memorable experience.
