   Parents as Partners

Dear Parents

What a busy week we have had. We have not stopped!  This week linked to our narrative Immersion text ‘Tyrannosaurus drip’ we have talked about different dinosaurs and the environment where they have live. We have also spoke with Mrs Duckbill who has lost one of her eggs.

Next Week we will be doing the following:

Literacy – We will be visiting story world and helping Mrs Duckbill to find her little egg.

Letters and Sounds – We will be introducing the initial sounds s, a. t. p – we will be blending the sounds together to make simple words (sat, pat) and practicing the correct letter formation.

Mathematics – We will be focusing on numbers 1-10, sorting dinosaurs and carrying out some problem solving.

Understanding the World – We will be investigating which animals lay eggsJ
