National Homophobia Day

National Homophobia Day

At St. Thomas’ we are proud to promote difference, diversity and equality. Last year we had a wonderful play (Happily Ever After) encouraging pupils and parents in our school to respect and support everyone’s relationship and love choices.

This year during May we took it upon ourselves to celebrate National Homophobia Day by wearing rainbow coloured clothing. Each pupil was given the opportunity to celebrate love in whatever form it comes in and it was a wonderful day to be a part of.

We are going to continue to promote equality in every way we can. We want the pupils of this school to know how important freedom of choice is.

As staff we will be showing our support for this cause everyday by wearing rainbow coloured lanyards with our staff ID badges.

Hear are some photographs of our children in their rainbow coloured clothes.
