Pupil Premium Expenditure

Pupil Premium is reviewed at the end of each financial year and the new proposed expenditure strategy updated to reflect the needs of pupils both new and existing for the academic year ahead. This information will be made available on the school website by the end of the Autumn term of the new academic year.

Priorities for 2025/2026

St Thomas’ CE Primary aims to:

  • Eliminate the attainment differences between pupil premium children and non pupil premium children.
  • Provide enrichment opportunities for pupil premium children.

St Thomas’ CE Primary aims to do this by:

  • Ensuring access to specially trained staff and other professionals e.g. learning mentor and intervention staff.
  • Providing teacher and teaching assistant led intervention through small group teaching across the school
  • Prioritising pupil premium children for after school clubs
