Welcome to Year 4's class page. Here you can find out about what we are learning about this half term, important key days and see what Year 4 is all about!
About Us
Mrs Lambert teaches in Year 4 and works alongside Miss Souter. Every day we have a Maths, Writing, Guided Reading and Spelling lesson. We also learn about Science, History, Geography, Art, DT, PE, RE and PSHE through the week. In Year 4 we learn a lot through lots of different kinds of activities. We enjoy drama, practical activities, using iPads and Chromebooks, and reading books. We also make time to be active each day through action songs and dances to support our learning.
Each half term our learning is based around an engaging text and most of our activities are linked to this. This year's texts are:
Autumn 1 - Stone Age Boy
Autumn 2 - Halibut Jackson
Spring 1 - Into The Forest
Spring 2 - Escape From Pompeii
Summer 1 - The Tin Forest
Summer 2 - The Rabbits
